The user of the website shall indemnify Fangtastic Fiction against any loss or damage to property or for data or software that is lost or damaged as a result of use of this website, including the purchase or distribution of goods or services to the user. The maximum liability may never exceed the cost of the original order. 

Use of Information

Fangtastic Fiction has and enforces a Privacy Policy for any use of or access to a customer’s personal information. Any credit card transaction details are processed through the Paymate system which uses 128-bit Secure Socket Layer standards to protect your confidential information. 

Fangtastic Fiction relies on the customer providing us with accurate information and will accept no responsibility for any actions we take based on that information, such as orders that go missing when delivered to an incorrect address provided by you, or non-receipt of refunds remitted to a bank account or credit card whose incorrect details have been provided by you. 

If we believe that information provided to us is fraudulent or related to the mis-use of our website we reserve the right to cancel associated orders. 

Cooling-off Period 

Once you have placed an order we allow you a 24 hour cooling off period, during which time you may contact us to amend or cancel your order. At the end of this time period we will order your books from the supplier and your order will be considered “Firm” and no amendment to your order will be allowed. 

Availability and Delivery Estimates 

Fangtastic Fiction uses information provided by a number of third party suppliers, such as publishers, distributors and bookseller associations, to collect and present information to users of the website. At all times we take reasonable care that the information is correct, but we accept no responsibility for any errors or omissions in information or estimates. 

Guidelines on the availability of books given throughout this website are based on best available information at the time of entering or updating the details of each title. They must be taken as guidelines only and if the guideline is not correct then the user will be contacted and alternative arrangements made. 

We make every effort to dispatch orders to customers within an estimated timeframe, but we reserve the right to delay the dispatch of part of an order in the event that we can consolidate the completion of an order in a reasonable time frame. In general we will consolidate an order for up to 5 days from the time the first book arrives so as to complete as much of the order as possible within the estimated delivery timeframe. Likewise we reserve the right to dispatch an order to a customer in batches if this is deemed the best way to complete an order.  In this case only one delivery fee will be charged. 

We accept no responsibility if unforeseen situations arise that make completion of an order in a reasonable timeframe impossible. In such cases the customer will be contacted for alternative arrangements to be made.

We use Australia Post for the delivery of orders to customers, but rely on their systems and processes for the delivery of items within Australia Post’s guidance timeframes. We can accept no responsibility for delays encountered in delivery through Australia Post. 

Refunds 

Fangtastic Fiction reserves the right to assess if refunds are allowable under the company’s Refunds Policy. Customers wanting a refund must contact Fangtastic Fiction to discuss the situation prior to sending any books back to the company. 

Communication 

Periodically we will send customers of Fangtastic Fiction updates on products or newsletters. By creating an account with us you agree to receive these emails.
