| Some reviews are just hard to write... NOT because the book was bad and I’m not sure how to say it – quite the opposite. Having just finished Jenna Blacks “The Devil Inside”, the first in her “Morgan Kingsley” series, I am finding myself stuck for a noun to combine the glowing adjectives. Black has written a story with flow. From start to finish there is not a single moment of disjointedness – even the incredibly hot moments of lust flow into the story naturally. This is one very sexy book and it doesn’t take too long to discover one of the best written phone sex scenes I’ve encountered (simple, yet nicely worded, almost makes you want to dial random phone numbers). There are one or two not so pleasant moments, and if you don’t like any sort of Bondage/Discipline play then steer clear of this book – it’s not a heavy component, but it is part of the story (and actually does fit very well with the story). I love Morgan, our exorcist hero with the sexy leather pants, hot temper, and hotter blood. Black has managed to write a brilliant story that flows so well, and allows time to develop an emotional connection to her very, very sexy and dynamic characters. This book is a definite keeper. | ||
